I achieved a new personal best with this big brown hen. Biggest trout i've landed on a dry fly. size 16 caddis.

Nice one. Dawn or dusk? Either way, that is when the big browns come out to hunt!

Can a person have too many fly rods?

It was about 10pm. Action really picked up around 9pm with a blanket caddis hatch, and I had a couple of real nice fish that took me into my backing, but spit the hook out right as they were coming to the net. Had a couple hit so hard it broke my line instantly. Saw that beauty of a brown working along the bank and she nailed my fly on the second drift. Took me into the backing and almost made it into the main current, but i was able to keep her head up and get her to the net.
